You can visit this site whether you are an adult or not. There is no
adult content on this site.
To vote or to visit the nominee sites and winners you need to be of a legal age because those site do have adult
content. Those sites are hosted elsewhere so you must also abide to their Terms and Conditions, specially with
regards to legal age.
Web mail addresses are easy to get and many people has more than one.
To keep this contest fair, every person should expedite 1 vote per category. If voters use webmail addresses we
can never be sure a voter has voted only one time per category. Restricting to ISP e-mail, we can control this
more precisely. Although for people that has access to more than one ISP mail or has access to many dns e-mails,
we ask them to be fair and vote only once per category.
However you can use a web email address to sign up and participate as a contestant or pageant.
I don't have an ISP e-mail, neither my own connection to the Internet. How can I vote?
Chances are you are using a computer at a public place. That is not a
good place to review Adult material. So for, you can not vote. (Sorry)
If you are using a connection trough a proxy, ask your system administrator to issue an e-mail address. It wont
matter if you use a business email, your vote is confidential and your privacy will be kept untouched.
Every site's first vote is automatically added when the entry is submitted.
That vote accounts for it webmaster.
To be fair with all contestants we disallow all incoming votes from the same address as the website is. For example:
if the site submitted was bawy.org, no incoming votes from addresses ... are accounted.
Votes are collected electronically. The data a voter submits, including
his/her Email address spends a few seconds traveling to our custom made votes-collector-program. Once it has arrived
its electronically taken to a location inaccessible through the Internet. These are safety measures to protect
voters ID and to keep safe their privacy.
Once a vote is submitted our custom made surveying program can detect fraudulent submissions and multiple votes
from a single user. Suspicious submissions are not accounted for.
Results for votes are available to us instantly. However, results are not made public until the release date as
stated elsewhere. - more
Voters privacy and confidentiality is very important to us. We rely on
your trust so you will come the next year to vote again.
Once the year contest is finished and winners are established, email addresses from voters are encrypted, packed,
saved in electronic media and stored in a vault (for future auditory purposes). We left no traces of voters emails
on any of our computers. We wont sell your email address nor use it for other purposes other than what's described
here.

never be present on this site.

Dec. 1st, Dec. 10th, March 1st. - Why those dates where chosen?
BAWY is an annual contest. People will expedite their opinion through
votes for what they think your product/service looks like at the end of the year. We assume at this date your work
has all the details you planned to add during the year and fixed/replaced what was not right. We assume you are
a new web developer. If you are not, it does not really matter. For this event you have a year long (unless your
website stays the same from previous year(s)) to present your work as you want it to be judged.
Regardless that our year ends on December 31st, December 1st was chosen as the due date for all site/work submission
due that it falls in a month too close to major festivities and time is short. On the same date opens the submissions
for the next year contest. Do not wait till last time to submit your work. Your submission can and will be rejected
if modifications are required.
To be fair with all contestants an opening voting date had to be chosen instead of keeping the contest open the
year long. December 10th was chosen as the date to open public voting.
We would like to stretch the time available to vote as much as possible but at the same time we want to have the
results of previous year contest with the same urgency so the winners enjoy a full year of glory starting the closest
to the beginning of the new year. We believe over two months will suffice for vote capturing so the due date for
vote submission is March 1st. Results are published at BAWY's home site on March 20th. During these 20 days we will be issuing and coding the
official trophies and awards.
Visit BAWY's home site after March 20th to get a pick of the winners. If you or your site has won in any category we will be sending email notification to the winners (in the days after March 20th) with instructions to pick up their custom made and encoded Trophy to be displayed at winner's site.
That depends on how many paysite winners are found.
Hopefully there will be at least one winner on each categories. Categories can be added if necessary to cover other
topics. In that case the amount of winners will also increase.
